One new photo taken today by Soen from the Festival City, in the foreground it is the Jadaf Shipyard. Current news indicate that cladding is coming on Burj Dubai in June. Emaar Properties has applied for extra reinforcement to floor slabs, yet they deny that the slabs are defective. They have decided to increase the stiffness of the slabs to reinforce the long-term performance of the tower. Rumours were spreading that the floor slabs are under-engineered and have developed small cracks.
