The DiscoveryChannnel in Dutch presents a little video "City in a Pyramid": http://www.discoverybroadband.nl/broadband/broadband.jsp?site=nl&template=freeclipplay&clip_id=41
After looking the video have a look to the pyramid into the quote once more.
I donīt think itīs assimilable to the pyramid in the video. What do you think?

hey guys i heard that pyramid city is getting another chance but has been shrunk significantly.  the funny thing is that exceed 3000 is also getting another look in!   |

| As i've read it will take more than 20 years to complete that city, and i would guess the tower would be the final touch, so it is not going to happen in the near future. |

Yep, a friend told me the Russian Wikipedia says it's frozen as of 2008 "to unknown period of time". I guess - recession...
